Abigail O'Branovich

I am a sophmore at California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo who is currently working towards a BS in Journalism. I am an active member of my sorority, Delta Gamma, and a campus representative for Princess Polly. I am also an influencer and writer for HerCampus Cal Poly chapter, which is an online media publication for women on  campus.

 I grew up doing musical theater and studied it along with acting, dance, and singing from a young age. I was in a total of 13 productions, one of which was professional, and then transitioned to training for TV and Film in Los Angeles. While training, I  filmed two episodes of  "Clique Wars," a webisode series on YouTube, a commercial for Chevrolet, a short film, and an episode of Showtime's Shameless, opposite Shanola Hampton and Steve Howey. Most recently, I filmed an episode of Netflix's "Unsolved Mysteries," which is set to air this summer. 

Lastly, a project I am passionate about is writing my first full-length screenplay. I spent years researching, gathering information, and interviewing sources. It has been a great way to challenge myself to express writing in a different medium.

In addition, I am also a musician and songwriter. In my free time, I enjoy writing, reading, playing my ukulele, acoustic and electric guitars.
